Episode twenty is now live, featuring Love and Terror on the Howling Plains of Nowhere by Poe Ballantine. At Browns Park in Preston County, West Virginia, Natalie and I sit on a rock (I know, a rock!) and discuss the book, true crime, literary nonfiction, Hawthorne Books, coal trucks driving by, community, a bug on my forehead, and the need to know a mixologist.
